Dr. Kyle Dunham (Ph.D. from The Master’s Seminary) is the Associate Professor of Old Testament at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. His dissertation on “Eliphaz as Didactic Counselor in Job Within the Context of Ancient Near Eastern Wisdom Theodicy” was published by Wipf and Stock. His book The Pious Sage in Job (Wipf & Stock, 2016) forms the basis of these two lectures, which explore the role of Eliphaz in the book of Job and in the light of its ancient Near Eastern background.
