Dr. Jonathan Greer is a professor of Old Testament at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary where he has taught since 2012. He has two Masters degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Ph. D. from the Pennsylvania State University. He has also participated in excavation work at Tel Dan for many years as Staff Zooarchaeologist and is the Director of the Hesse Memorial Archaeological Laboratory at Cornerstone. His books include Behind the Scenes of the Old Testament (2018) and How to Read the Bible in Its Ancient Context (2021 forthcoming).
