Dr. David Turner

Dr. David Turner on the Gospel of John. Dr. Turner has both a Th.D. from Grace Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. from Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion. He has taught for many years at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and before that at Grace Theological Seminary, where he was editor of the Grace Theological Journal. He was a translator for the New Living Translation and has published major works, including Israel’s Last Prophet: Jesus and the Jewish Leaders in Matthew 23 (Fortress, 2015), Matthew (Baker Exegetical Commentary on the NT, 2008) and Matthew (Cornerstone Biblical Commentary on the NLT, Tyndale, 2006) as well as numerous journal articles and chapters in various books largely focusing on the Gospels.
