          DASV: Jeremiah 45

1 The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son
of Neriah, when he wrote these words in a book at the dictation
of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of King
Josiah of Judah, saying,
2 "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to you, Baruch:
3 You said, 'Woe is me! For the LORD has added sorrow to my
pain; I am weary from groaning and can't find any rest.'
4 This is what you will say to him, This is what the LORD says:
Look, that which I have built
I will break down,
and that which I have planted
I will uproot.
This is what I will do throughout the entire land.
5 Are you seeking great things for yourself? Do not seek them;
for, look, I will bring disaster on all flesh, says the
LORD; but your life I will give you as a war prize
wherever you go."
